a NICU nurse caring for a baby in an incubator

We Begin on Friday

“We don’t show up to be changed. We show up to remember who we are.” – Mary Coughlin

A few months ago, I was standing in a NICU, watching a nurse gently reposition a baby.
There was nothing particularly “big” about the moment. No crisis, no celebration.
Just quiet care.
Intentional touch.
A breath taken before she moved, not after.

And in that moment, something clicked.

This.
This is what we forget.
This is what gets lost in the rush and the rounding and the relentless pressure to do more.

Presence.
Pure, healing presence.

That moment became the seed for what’s unfolding this Friday.

On June 6, We Return to the Heart of Care

This Friday, June 6th, we’re gathering.
Not for another Zoom training.
Not for more information to file away.
But for a remembering.

A re-centering.
A weaving back together of what care was always meant to be.

Presence.
Wholeness.
Humanity.

If you’ve been walking through your days feeling scattered, stretched, or soul-weary…
If you’ve been wondering if there’s more to your work than checklists and protocols…
If you’ve been holding space for others and craving someone to hold space for you...

This is for you.

What to Expect in The Presence Workshop

🌀 A 4-hour, heart-centered virtual gathering
🧠 Neuroscience + trauma-informed practice
🫶 Real-world clinical application + reflective rituals
💬 Breakout conversations with NICU professionals who get it
🎓 4 CE credits—and more importantly, a return to your “why”

Whether you show up in scrubs or slippers, camera on or off, fully present or just barely making it, you are welcome.

There’s no perfection required—only your presence.

Why It Matters Now

Presence isn’t about one moment.
It’s about the ripples we send into our care environments, our relationships, and our systems.
It’s about healing in the now—and creating a future where presence is built in, not squeezed in.

What we practice on June 6th doesn’t stay in the Zoom room.
It travels through tone, trust, and the tiny healing moments we offer every day.

A Final Reflection Before We Begin

💭 What are you ready to release before Friday?
💭 What part of yourself are you longing to return to?

Come as you are.
We’ll begin together.
